Night Fishing Season over until next summer.

Pro Tip: Weekdays have easier access to boat rentals and less crowded fishing spots. Fish before 10AM and after 4PM.

No private watercraft of any kind allowed.

Catfish: Catfish hauls were impressive during night fishing, including a 52, 47, and 38 pounders! Due to the inherent cleanliness of Dixon Lake, the catfish coming from our waters are quite tasty. Use smelly bait for best results. Limit 5 per permit.

Trout: Upcoming trout season stockings are currently TBD. We estimate stocking will occur in the last two weeks of November. During the season, Whisker Bay and the buoy line are hot spots. Limit 5 per permit. No catch and release.

Largemouth Bass: Piers 1 and 4, as well as the nearby shorelines, continue to be the most successful spots for catching Bass. Limit 2 per permit. Must be 12 inches to keep.

Bluegill: Hot spots for bluegills are the dense algae beds (try to look for any open spots in said beds, it’s a great place to drop your line with a bobber attached), near and in the tulles (reed-like vegetation growing in the shallow shores of the lake), around natural structures such as rocks or sunken trees and beneath the piers. Limit 25 per permit.
